Made of durable black anodized aluminum, the Reed Machine is accurate to +/- .001" and is guaranteed to copy any reed - commercial or handmade.  Once a guide reed is accurately placed on the left side of the table and a blank is properly placed on the right, the copying can begin of any E-flat clarinet, B-flat clarinet, Soprano saxophone or Alto saxophone reed (attachment sold separately).  With a mere movement from left to right, fine strips of cane are removed from the blank until a new reed is formed.  After clipping, the reed is ready to play! This Alto Sax Table attaches to the Reed Machine to allow you to make larger reeds.  Remove 2 screws from clarinet table and replace with Alto Table.  Easy to use.

Made of black durable, black aluminum and steel, the Reed Machine Planer removes cane from the inner diameter of the tube, making reed blanks of a consistent thickness. Using the provided shims, the Planer allows the user to change the thickness of each reed blank to his/her preference. The serrated clamp holds the raw blank in place to insure an accurate cutting each time. Blanks are finished with such smoothness that sanding is sometimes unnecessary. NEW! Includes hand plane.

The Profiler shapes the side rails of the reed blank. It is made with a comfortable round, solid handle and from hardened steel. The even guide rails insure a perpendicular cut every time. The Profiler can be used with any utility or reed knife and is available for E-flat Clarinet, B-flat clarinet, Alto Saxophone and Bass Clarinet. Custom profilers can be ordered for no additional cost.
